About Your Stay

At the Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital we strive to make your visit convenient and comfortable.

You and your doctor have discussed the best treatment options for you. Now it’s time to plan your visit to the Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital. We do our very best to reduce the anxiety often associated with a hospital visit so that all you have to do is think about getting well.

Here is some information that will help you plan your visit and reduce that anxiety.

Checking In

Before you even come through our doors, a concierge stands ready to assist you. Our concierge services help our guests, their families and other visitors identify and find nearby hotels, restaurants, maps of the area and more. We are here for you.

To protect the confidentiality of your personal health information, you will register in a private area. At this time, our registration professional will ask you questions and explain what you can expect during your visit. These questions may be about your specific health concerns, your insurance or medical history.

Settling into Your Guest Suite

Once you are registered, you and your family members will be assigned a room in the Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital. Because we offer the Modified Universal Bed model of cardiac care, you will be able to remain in this room for your entire stay, except for surgery if that is planned. The Modified Universal Bed care plan enables us to provide all levels of care from admission to discharge, and also means your family member can remain with you throughout your stay.

Heart-Healthy Dining

You and your visitors can order gourmet meals from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

Room Service

For a reasonable price, Room Service offers our visitors the convenience of not needing to leave the side of their loved one to enjoy a meal. Please call ext. 4100 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and a Diet Clerk will be happy to assist you with your order. Please refer to the Meal Service brochure provided in the patient room for more information.
