Sixth Annual Tyler Rose City Miracle Run 5K/1K Family Fun Run to be held April 27

Tyler, Texas, April 24, 2019 – We don’t just run, we run for their lives. This is the motto of the 6th annual Tyler Rose City Miracle Run set for Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Rose Rudman Park in Tyler. Each year, more than 300 participants and community members lace up their shoes to run, walk, jog or stroll to raise funds and awareness to support pediatric healthcare in Northeast Texas.

One-hundred percent of the money raised at the Miracle Run benefits Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System, which funds equipment, supplies and programs for sick and injured kids in our community.

The Tyler Rose City Miracle Run is family friendly and kids are encouraged to participate. The chip timed 5K run starts at 8:00am, followed by a 1K Family Fun Run. All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, race swag bag and a finisher prize. Awards go to the top three men and women participants in the 5K. Community vendors will be present, as well as local children who have benefitted from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Race fees are $40 for the 5K event and $15 for the Family Fun Run. Participants can register online at www.miraclerun5k.org or by calling Christina Mosier, race coordinator at 903-606-3863. In person registration/check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. on race day.
