CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System Facilities and Physicians Honored by Hopkins County Residents

SULPHUR SPRINGS – CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System has been recognized as the Best in Hopkins County in several categories by the readers of the Sulphur Springs News-Telegram in the 2017 Best of Hopkins County Awards voting.

Included in this year’s honors are recognitions for “Best Hospital” and “Best Emergency Room” for CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Sulphur Springs, “Best OB-GYN” runner-up for Darryl Doughtie, M.D., of CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic OBGYN and “Best Pediatrician” for Tod Conner, M.D. of CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic Pediatrics.

“We are very excited to receive these recognitions,” said Paul Harvey, MHA, President and Chief Executive Officer of CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Sulphur Springs. “This is a special honor because it comes from our patients and the community we serve. It’s not based on complicated sets of data or specialized reporting to the government. It is based on the care we provide, how we treat people and the experience we create for our patients. Providing the highest quality care is the goal of everyone at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System, and having our providers be recognized, and being recognized as the best hospital with the best ER – by our community – is a testament to the efforts of our team on behalf of our patients every single day.”

The awards are given out by the newspaper each year to people, businesses and organizations named by their readers as the best in the area. Categories range from best hamburger to favorite local attraction.

According to the Sulphur Springs News-Telegram, “We believe Hopkins County is the best place to live, and a great place to shop, dine and have fun. And apparently, a lot of you do too. Thanks to the hundreds who voted in our Best of Hopkins County contest.  We had more than 150 categories to choose from, and we received more than a thousand different write-ins for your favorites. This is an unscientific poll, but it is a reward for those businesses and people who go above and beyond.”
