HealthPark - Lindale Expands to Meet Community Needs

Larger facility features more providers and

services in one of East Texas’ fastest growing regions.

LINDALE, TX – CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances HealthPark - Lindale has drastically expanded its family medicine clinic and physical therapy facilities to meet the health care needs of one of East Texas’ fasting growing communities.

The Lindale HealthPark is expanding the family medicine clinic portion of the facility by adding 17 new exam rooms equipped to handle five new providers, including their first dedicated pediatrician, Holly Blanco, M.D.

“Simply put, we need more space available in which to deliver the award-winning care our patients have come to expect from CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System,” said Kelly Weisinger, Administrative Director for HealthPark - Lindale.

Additionally, the physical therapy practice at the Lindale HealthPark is expanding to include a newly renovated and dedicated waiting area.

“We will be increasing the size of the clinic from 1,200 square-feet to 2,184 square-feet,” said Chris Willis, PT, DPT, Director of Rehabilitation at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. “We will be adding an additional therapist, which will bring us to two physical therapists, two physical therapy assistants, and an office assistant. We are also adding equipment including exercise tables and resistance machines, and the clinic will have a separate entrance and waiting area.”

“This new, more comfortable space will allow us to accommodate the growing needs of physical therapy patients in the Lindale area,” said Weisinger. “As we seek to provide a full continuum of outpatient care, physical therapy and rehabilitation is a key component for our patients. Keeping people healthy is absolutely as important as treating them when they are sick.”

Providers say the expanded facility is a needed and welcome development in one of East Texas’ busiest areas.

“Lindale has grown an incredible amount in the years since this facility was first built,” said Russell Bell, M.D., a family medicine provider at the Lindale HealthPark. “We are always looking to improve the quality of care we provide, and an important part of taking care of our patients is ensuring that they have access to the treatment and services they need. With this expansion, we will shorten wait times, improve access and provide a better platform for our providers to see and treat patients. We couldn’t be more excited.”

While the Lindale HealthPark will continue operation uninterrupted, the expanded facility will be completed December 19. Two of the newly added internal medicine and pediatric medicine providers are being on-boarded currently and are currently seeing patients.
