Senior Services

Senior ServicesAging can present unique mental health needs and life challenges that older adults often find difficult to overcome. The Trinity Mother Frances Winnsboro Senior Care offers an Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric Program (IOP) for patients, age 55 or older, who continue to live within their community, but need additional psychiatric support. This program is designed to relieve emotional and personal distress for patients suffering from:

  • Anxiety and panic disorders
  • Confusion and memory loss
  • Depression
  • Dysfunctional patterns of behavior that impede daily living
  • Grief reaction
  • Mood changes
  • Psychosis
  • Sleep disorders
  • Unfounded fears

Patients admitted to Senior Care IOP are cared for by an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including a psychiatrist and a licensed clinical social worker. The IOP is appropriate for patients with mental illness who require a structured program of therapy to attain specific treatment goals. Structured therapy groups are available which are educational and supportive. Individual therapy is also available for those who need one-on-one counseling.

Our staff is ready to help provide a pathway to restoration and renewal. Free confidential assessments are available to the individual, family and facility.

Doctors on the medical staff practice independently and are not employees or agents of the hospital.
