Trinity Mother Frances - Jacksonville is focused on providing compassionate and quality care to the residents of Jacksonville and the surrounding area. The hospital has participated in several studies and developed programs that continue to enhance the level of care that is provided to patients.
Trinity Mother Frances - Jacksonville is a recipient of the Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Silver Award, a quality improvement award from TMF® Health Quality Institute, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Texas. The award recognizes the hospital’s efforts to improve patient outcomes on select national quality measures. Out of 214 participating Texas hospitals, two were presented with the Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Gold Award, 129 earned the Silver Award and 36 received the Bronze Award.
To earn an award, hospitals had to initiate a quality improvement program with an interdisciplinary team, collect and submit data over four quarters and demonstrate significant improvement on all 27 of the quality measures that make up the Appropriate Care Measure (10 quality measures for critical access hospitals).
TMF Health Quality Institute, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Texas, established the awards program in partnership with the Texas Hospital Association, Texas Medical Association, Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals and Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
