Children’s Miracle Network Gears Up for Annual Mix 93.1 Radiothon

TYLER, TX – Mix 93.1, part of Townsquare Media, will hold their 17th annual Mix With Kids Radiothon on August 20 and 21, 2015, to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. All of the proceeds will help purchase life-saving equipment, provide pediatric programs and services benefiting East Texas families receiving their care at Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics.

“We are proud to host the Radiothon for the 17th year in a row and support our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital,” said Lucky Larry, Mix 93.1 Brand Manager. “Our listeners are generous and care about their community, and we are blessed to live in East Texas, which is full of people who want to be involved and to donate to the efforts of CMN.”

The Mix With Kids Radiothon will feature interviews with patient families including Amanda and Chad Dingler, the parents of one-year-old Carter Wayne Dingler who is a patient of the Special Needs Clinic at Trinity Mother Frances, a program made possible by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

“The Mix 93.1 Radiothon is a wonderful opportunity for the community to become involved in and supporters of Children’s Miracle Network.” said Robin Rowan, Director of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at the Trinity Mother Frances Foundation. “We are so grateful to the air personalities with Mix 93.1 and everyone at Townsquare Media for making the Radiothon possible and for the huge impact the funds raised will have on the lives of local sick and injured children.”

The Radiothon program has been an integral part of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital’s fundraising efforts since 1997. More than 300 stations across the country participate in Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothons and have raised more than $280 million in support of 170 children’s hospitals in their respective communities.
