Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics President Receives Degree At University Commencement

PHILADELPHIA - Holy Family University held its 52nd commencement Monday, May 11 in Verizon Hall of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Center City Philadelphia.

During the ceremony, Holy Family University conferred an honorary degree on Lindsey Bradley, FACHE, president, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics; and Jamie Moyer of Braedenton, Florida.

Lindsey Bradley, MBA, MHCA, FACHE is President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics in Tyler, Texas. Because of his leadership, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, founded by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, has received national recognition and awards. During his tenure at Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, Mr. Bradley established 32 outreach clinics to serve isolated rural communities. He established the Flight for Life emergency air transport service that provided the region’s first emergency helicopter service. He also established the FamilyCARE Center that provided medical care to uninsured and underinsured women and children. His contributions to the health care ministry and unwavering commitment to the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth reflect the mission of Holy Family University.

Jamie Moyer is Co-Founder and President of The Moyer Foundation, which he and his wife Karen established in 2000. By assisting more than 170 different programs The Moyer Foundation has provided life-changing support to thousands of children coping with profound physical, emotional or financial distress.

The Moyer Foundation also developed and operates a national network of bereavement camps for children and teens as well as a camp for children affected by addiction in their families. Because of the many young lives helped and supported through The Moyer Foundation, Holy Family University will bestow the Doctor of Humane Letters upon Mr. Moyer, Co-Founder and President of the Moyer Foundation.

Mr. Moyer has also played major league baseball for 25 years and is currently a pitcher for the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies.
