TRINITY CLINIC-HENDERSON PHYSICIAN ACCEPTS LEADERSHIP ROLE

New Physician Added To Henderson Clinic Staff

HENDERSON, TX - Officials with Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics have announced that W. Mike McCrady, MD, MHA, has accepted the position of Vice President and Medical Director of Clinical Operations for Trinity Clinic. Dr. McCrady previously served as the Clinic's Associate Medical Director for Regional Development. Trinity Clinic is the area’s preferred multispecialty physician group with more than 250 providers representing 37 specialties serving 27 counties in east, northeast and north-central Texas in 35 clinic locations.

Because Dr. McCrady's new role brings a conclusion to his family medicine practice in Henderson, William Featherston, MD, a family practice physician from Plano is relocating to Trinity Clinic-Henderson.

"Dr. Bill Featherston has experience in medical education, family medicine and urgent care. I am pleased to be able to leave my patients in such capable hands. Dr. Featherston will be accepting the care for my patients and working with Dr. Charles Perricone and Dr. Meredith Hay. The addition of Dr. Featherston to the Trinity Clinic Henderson staff is part of our continuing effort to provide the highest level of care," said Dr. McCrady. "Dr. Featherston has my appreciation and total confidence.”

Dr. McCrady said the decision to transition to his new role was difficult, but the right thing to do.

"This is not a decision I made lightly," he said. "For twenty-four years, along with an amazing team of dedicated doctors, nurses and staff members, I have had the joy of knowing and caring for thousands of families as we welcomed new babies, splinted broken bones, handled heart attacks and finished lives well-lived. It has been a privilege."

"In my new role, I will be much more involved with Trinity Clinic's operations and development projects across the east Texas region. While my administrative role will be expanding, I also want to put my clinical skills to work in a more intensive hospital setting. For that reason, I have decided to work with the Trinity Mother Frances Hospitalist group, where I will be part of the team of doctors taking care of patients admitted to the hospital. While I will certainly miss the day-to-day interactions I have had with my patients and their families in my Henderson clinic, I am also looking forward to continuing our relationship at Mother Frances Hospital-Tyler."

Dr. McCrady and his wife Anne will continue to reside in Henderson.
