Mark Anderson, MD
FACEP - Medical Director, Mother Frances Hospital - Tyler Emergency Care Center
Dr. Anderson has served as the medical director for the Trinity Mother Frances Flight For Life program since 2003 and also serves as medical director for the Mother Frances Hospital - Tyler Emergency Care Center. Dr. Anderson received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Forensic Medicine.
Scott A. Kunkel, RN, MBA, NREMT-P, CFRN, CMTE, FP-C, CCP-C - Air Services Director, Flight For Life
Scott Kunkel has been involved in transport medicine for 23 + years. He has worked for a variety of organizations in clinical and leadership positions. His experience includes pre-hospital emergency BLS / ALS, critical care ground transport, rotor wing and fixed wing air medical transport. Mr. Kunkel holds a MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree. He is a Certified Medical Transport Executive (CMTE), Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN), Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) and has been a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P) since 1988. He is a site surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). He maintains membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and a number of clinical associations.
Misti Barron, RN, BSN, LP, CFRN, CCRN - Chief Flight Nurse/Clinical Director
Misti is a registered nurse and licensed paramedic with 14 years experience, 7 years with Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology (BA) at the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) at UT Tyler. She is nationally boarded in critical care as both a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) and a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
Robert P. Bell, RN, EMT-P, CFRN, CTRN, CCRN - Flight Nurse
Robert is a registered nurse and paramedic with 16 years of experience. He has 10 years of experience as a flight nurse with Flight for Life. He has earned an associates degree in nursing (ADN) from Tyler junior College. Robert is nationally boarded in critical care as a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN, Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN) and a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
Craig Mattingly, EMT-P, FP-C, CCP-C, TCLEOSE - Flight Paramedic
Craig is certified as an EMT-Paramedic with 25 years experience and has been a flight paramedic with Flight for Life for the last 16 years. He has been with Trinity Mother Frances for 24 years. He is nationally boarded in critical care as both a Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and a Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C). Craig is also a Texas Certified Police Officer (TCLEOSE).
Trey Moses, RN, LP, CTRN, CCRN - Flight Nurse
Trey is a registered nurse with 21 years experience, 19 years of this as a flight nurse. In addition to nursing, he is a licensed paramedic with 25 years of experience. Trey began his critical care nursing experience at Parkland Hospital Dallas CCU before his first flight nursing position with Flight for Life. Trey is nationally boarded in critical care as both a Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN) and a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
John W. Skelton, LP, FP-C, CCP-C - Flight Paramedic
John is a certified flight paramedic with 17 years experience at Trinity Mother Frances. He completed his associate’s degree in paramedicine from Tyler Junior College and is a Licensed Paramedic. John is nationally boarded in critical care as both a Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and a Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C).
Randy (Paul) Wheeler, RN, LP, CFRN, CCRN - Flight Nurse
Paul is a registered nurse and paramedic with 26 years experience on the Trinity Mother Frances air medical team. He earned his paramedic license after attending Henderson County Junior College and he has an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Tyler Junior College. Paul is nationally boarded in critical care as both a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) and a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN).
Bryan Winchell, NREMT-P, FP-C, CCP-C, C-NPT - Flight Paramedic
Bryan has been working as a paramedic since 2006 in both Wisconsin and Texas. He is board certified in critical care as a Flight Paramedic (FP-C), Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C), and in Neonatal and Pediatric Transport (C-NPT). Bryan also serves as a paramedic instructor at the ALERT Academy and enjoys teaching classes for other local departments as well.
