Diabetes - Outpatient Education Center
The Trinity Mother Frances Outpatient Education Center offers educational services and community programs that teach diabetes management skills and medical nutrition therapy for a variety of health conditions, including diabetes, obesity, cardiac disease, renal disease, glucose intolerance, celiac disease, hypertension and more. Our certified diabetes educators and registered dieticians teach individual and group classes that offer real-life solutions for better health.
The Outpatient Education Center, which includes the Wisenbaker Patient Education Center, offers education and information, through:

Wisenbaker Diabetes Patient Education Center
The Wisenbaker Diabetes Patient Education Center empowers patients with diabetes and specific other health issues to live a healthy life through medical and nutritional management of the disease. After a physician referral and personal assessment, patients can attend a comprehensive, three-week series of classes recognized by the American Diabetes Association. The content includes information on:
• Signs and symptoms
• Monitoring • Acute and chronic complications
• Physical activity
• The process of diabetes and more
Regardless of whether you've been diagnosed with diabetes recently or have had diabetes for many years, the Wisenbaker Diabetes Patient Education Center offers diabetes education tailored to meet your needs. Education is offered in group or individual classes. The setting is personal and informal, with many opportunities to ask questions, practice newly acquired skills, and apply them to real-life situations.
