TRINITY CLINIC EYE CENTER ANNOUNCES NEW PHYSICIAN
TYLER, TX -- Officials with Trinity Clinic announced the affiliation of Clayton E. Whitney, MD, FAAO, FACS, as Chief of Ophthalmology of the newly-formed Trinity Clinic Eye Center, located at 1327 Troup Highway in Tyler. The Clinic opens December 1.
Dr. Whitney has practiced for more than 20 years in east Texas and is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and conditions. In addition to providing routine eye exams and prescriptions, he offers blade-free Lasik surgery, cornea transplant and cataract surgery.
"I chose ophthalmology because it is a combination of primary care and exciting surgery that can yield dramatic results for patients," he said. "I am excited about the prospects at the Trinity Clinic Eye Center and the new equipment and services it offers to our patients."
Dr. Whitney received his fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, and his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is a graduate of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he serves as Clinical Associate Professor in Ophthalmology.
