TRINITY MOTHER FRANCES NURSE APPOINTED TO STATE POST
TYLER, TX -- Texas Department of State Health Services Commissioner David L. Lakey, MD has appointed Walter Rodney Parrish, RN, a cardiac care nurse at Mother Frances Hospital-Tyler, to a three-year term on the TDSHS Cardiac Care Committee.
The committee reviews pertinent issues and make recommendations to the Governor’s EMS and Trauma Advisory Council who, in turn, makes recommendations to TDSHS.
"All of us appreciate your (Parrish) willingness to serve the EMS/trauma systems community in this manner and look forward to a productive working relationship with you," said Dr. Lakey. "It means a lot that you are willing to participate in making our great state safer and better prepared to respond to acute illness and injury."
Parrish has been with Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics 18 years.
